Garden of the Gods

Sometimes in Colorado Springs, people take this so for granted that I almost even forgot to put it on my list!

Garden of the Gods is aptly named. It is a garden of red rocks sticking straight up through the Earth. You’ll recognize these red rocks as the same ones from Cheyenne Canyon and Red Rocks Amphitheater, only these ones stick straight up in the air. Only a God (ie, Mother Earth) could have fashioned something so lovely and awe-inspiring. I honestly drive through GoG once a week just to savor the experience.

I am thankful for the Garden of the Gods, and I will not neglect to put it on my list ever again (lol)
